Your First Visit...

On your first visit to our office you will be asked to fill out a Confidential Health History Form. Once completed, Drs. Joseph or Carol Ball will consult with you to discuss your history and the problems that have brought you to the office. A thorough evaluation will be given, in addition to a complete spinal analysis. These procedures, along with the case history and consultation, are utilized by the doctor to determine the cause and possible treatment of your problem so that you may begin the journey to regain your health and experience improvement in the quality of your life.

X-Ray

Chiropractors were among the first health professionals to use x-ray as an analytical tool. Since 1910, x-rays have been a valuable aid toward the complete understanding of the patient's condition. Drs. Ball are certified by the State of California as x-ray operators and supervisors. We have our own in-house x-ray facility which enables us to take x-rays immediately if it is determined they are necessary.

Report of Findings

The Doctors will review the results of your evaluation and x-rays, if taken, and will let you know if they can help you. They will discuss the cause of your problem, what needs to be done to get you well, and how long it will take. The types of treatment available will be explained in detail, as will be the postural correction, spinal exercises and other programs that will assist in your recovery.

Treatment: The Adjustment

When the vertebrae are misaligned (subluxated) the result is impaired nerve function. This can eventually lead to illness or dis-ease. Chiropractors use the "adjustment" to gently correct the misalignment and restore structural balance to the body. This leads to improved nerve function, which can result in improved health and an increase in your overall sense of well being. Our office specializes in Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic. This procedure is a gentle, effective approach to renewed health and relief of discomfort with manipulation.

The Cost

The anticipated cost of your treatment will be explained to you based on our initial recommendations for your care. Our office accepts Medicare and Personal Injury cases. We also accept most Major Medical Insurance Plans and we are providers for some PPO Plans. Our well-trained staff will review your insurance benefits with you. For those individuals who do not have insurance benefits, you will find our rates to be affordable.
